Who We Are

Rolland and Kevin have known and worked together for more than 15 years, initially in a client capacity and later as colleagues. Whether it was their varied musical tastes or off-beat humor, they seemed to click.

It was only recently that circumstances created an opportunity for the two to work side by side in bringing holistic financial planning to Freedom Financial’s already successful tax preparation business.

Rolland enjoys the challenges that come with more complex tax situations and doesn’t mind the sprint that comes along with tax season. However, he also enjoys the freedom that comes along with finishing tax season!  Kevin enjoys combining his experience as a client and as a planner; while searching for new ideas in the planning and portfolio management field. Due to technology, he also relishes the freedom to serve his clients whether he’s in Florida or Michigan. 

Together, they have the freedom to create the personal customer service they want by working with a limited number of clients that appreciate full financial planning AND tax preparation.  Some of the music they like are from artists like Foo Fighters, Bailey Zimmerman, New Order or Johnny Cash so they can talk about that too.
